If your family lives anywhere in central southern central England including Bath, Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth, Ringwood, Salisbury, Southampton or Wimborne areas, and you would enjoy welcoming a French guest who wants to come to this area within the UK to learn English as a foreign language in a friendly homestay for 2-3 weeks, then Belaf UK may be interested in placing a student with you and we will pay £130 per week.

Typically, our students are aged between 12 and 18 years old, and would be matched carefully to suit the interests and ages of your own children. The intention is that they are closely integrated with your family, normally during the summer holidays. Consequently they do not attend a language school, and so it would not normally suit working mothers. Instead, they are given a programme of English language studies with a qualified Belaf UK tutor who would visit them in your home twice during their stay. They do come with their own pocket money but they will be expected to be treated as one of your family in terms of outings and treats.
